Fittest, Most Qualified

So, this is the archetypal American Man of Power. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but most of them look like this. I suppose I'll look like this in 30 years or so, so maybe I'll run for office-- or I'll stab enough backs and step on enough faces to get up that ladder my ownself! Sure, sure I will.
This drawing was inspired by J. Edgar Hoover. I drew it while I was watching the documentary The U.S. Vs. John Lennon over at sprword.com

Ha ha ha! That's great! I made that very same observation a few weeks ago, when I saw something in a magazine that showed all these political bigwigs. I thought, dude, they're all paunchy, gray, male, 50-something er other. Not much diversity there. I didn't draw a cool picture like you did, though.

Entitlement is the key to success. You need to destroy your highly developed social consciousness and truly, truly, truly, truly believe that you are at the center of the world and you deserve everything in it. Remember, other people and everything else in Nature are really just toys in your sandbox of ego.

Amazing how this is pretty much the ink-blot of the most famous middle-aged white guys who held power. Hoover, Cheney, McCain, and the list goes on.
